The Birdcage is a Quest in Seven: The Days Long Gone.
The Birdcage is a gladiatorial arena just outside the settlement of Lewmer. If you fancy testing your mettle, you can take part in the events there. Winning in the Birdcage will earn you glory, a lit- tle auryte, and potentially the chance to fight in the more esteemed Crucible arena in Peh's capital, Warden's Hold. And all you have to do is put your life on the line every time you step into the cage.

Walkthrough
Outside Lewmer, on the road to Mortbane, you can visit the Birdcage arena. To start a match, talk to the arena's owner.
There are two match types: a one-on-one fight; and a free-for-all match. The number of opponents in each match and the price of entry varies.
If you can achieve victory in both match types in the Birdcage, you will be offered the chance to fight in the Crucible for unparalleled fame and substantial rewards.
Graith is a talent hunter who prowls the Birdcage looking for fighters with skill and grit. He has watched dozens of combatants throw their lives away in the Birdcage; he waits for the odd gem that could entertain the baying crowd in the Crucible.
After successfully winning each of two types of matches, when leaving the arena, Graith will congratulate you on your abilities. He will present you with a recommendation letter for the Crucible arena keeper in Warden's Hold. You need this letter to enter the Crucible's events.
Note: Graith can be met at the Birdcage from the start of the game. If you're sneaky, you can steal the recommendation letter from him without fighting in the Birdcage.
When you have the recommendation letter, the opportunity for the ‘Forged in the Crucible' quest opens up.
